MediChatApp is a patient engagement and workflow platform built around Greenway Intergy. It combines Two-Way SMS, a modern patient portal, digital check-in, website + local SEO, and an optional branded iOS app so your practice can reduce phone volume, modernize communication, and automate more of the work that staff currently handle manually.

MediChatApp is designed for high-volume, multi-location medical practices using Greenway Intergy as their EMR. It works particularly well for specialties like OB/GYN, primary care, pediatrics, dermatology, plastic surgery, and imaging centers where phone volume, recalls, and intake are constant pain points.

Today, MediChatApp is purpose-built for Intergy, including its data model, APIs, and typical workflows. That focus lets us go deeper on appointment sync, encounters, recalls, and automation than generic multi-EMR tools. Many tools do messaging or reminders, but they’re often generic and sit on top of your EMR with limited awareness of your real workflows. Security & compliance

Key questions about HIPAA, BAAs, hosting, and how we protect PHI.

MediChatApp is built to be HIPAA-ready. We follow HIPAA security principles, enforce access controls, encrypt data in transit and at rest, maintain audit logs, and limit PHI exposure in logs and tooling. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available for covered entities as part of your onboarding. For more detail, you can also review our Security & Compliance page.

Yes. For HIPAA-covered entities and their business associates, MediChatApp offers a BAA as part of the contracting process. We can also coordinate with your legal or compliance team to review any additional requirements.

MediChatApp is hosted on AWS with network and application security controls in place. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest, restrict access on a least-privilege basis, and protect the application edge with Cloudflare and additional security measures. Yes. MediChatApp maintains audit logging for key actions and events, so that access, configuration changes, and important workflows can be traced as required by your compliance and security teams.

How MediChatApp talks to Intergy and what’s included in each module.

MediChatApp is built around Intergy’s data model and interfaces. Depending on your environment, we can work with Intergy APIs, HL7, CCDA, and related interfaces to sync appointments, patient demographics, and other relevant data needed for messaging, recalls, intake, and portal workflows.

The exact scope depends on your configuration, but typically includes:

What to expect when you sign up with MediChatApp and how we support your team.

Onboarding speed depends on how many locations and modules you roll out, and how quickly we can coordinate access and interfaces with your Intergy team. Many practices start with a subset of modules and locations, then expand. We’ll walk through your goals on a kickoff call and propose a phased rollout that fits your staff and IT capacity.

Yes. We provide training and onboarding tailored to front desk, call center, and clinical workflows, so staff understand how MediChatApp fits around Intergy and your existing processes. Training can be live and/or recorded depending on your preference.
